Dear readers...understand that everything reflects our souls, and aspects like knowledge (ilm) or angels or Allah (swt) is not objects! The best way for to feel safe with one self is knowledge. And its the first vers wich came to the last prophets soul. It means to understand other possible perspectives, to discover. the problem today is that no one really "search" (knowledge, discover) inside there own understanding and other possible truths. Knowledge is not an object over the clouds, every human are unique with his own mind and experience. We are in need of building a bridge between us, respect and dialog is the first step for to built this bridge. The bridge of knowledge. Our thinking should meat in a holy place when we make a dialog, what could be better to disscus what ahl sunnah stands for, about differant knowledges, and differant kind of views? It could help us training our minds and souls. Unfortently we have a nafs; Every human likes to fulfil her/hes individual needs, everyone likes to make there identity stonger. And every human has differant needs and every individual make there identity stronger by holding to one aspect, today we can see religious people who uses religion as a way for to fulfil there own needs. Egocentrism, arrogance, ignorance is the inner meaning of the term "Shirk". Still i dont undersand the way people sending messages here, reciting Allah (swt) and the prophets (saw) words with a meaning connected to there own needs and view. How can one muslim who says that hes ahl sunna and reciting theese verses in this place? May Allah (swt) help them for to hold there tounges...May (swt) help us in the path of knowledge and understanding like the true salafi salihin. Tasawuf stands for the light inside of us, the light of religion and philosofi, its obligatory to study this (like all ulema did) if the human decide to walk on a path to Allah, to one self. Its important to read and reflect, but with an principle (tasawuf) where we can fill our hearts with happiness and love. The principle is very easy, the principle is the way to Allah, its islam, surrending to Allah. There are many principles, but still we are in the same train. Everyone in this train has a soul and we all people are in the same level trying to be united with Allah (swt). And what is Allah (swt)? Is Allah (swt) an object over us, or inside of us, or everywhere? As people still searching for answeres, i wonder why they just cant look at there own self, "if you know your self you know Allah (swt)." A simple answere and a simple way...everything is a reflection to the soul. May Allah help us on the way

As Salamu alaikum Bismillah-hirrahman Nirraheem This is for all my broad-minded Muslim brothers, Sisters who are honest, sincere and proud about their religion, who devote their lives to please Allah SWT with their every action. Shias are already proved to be good Muslims who follow the Religion of Islam in the best possible way by every secular-minded Muslim scholar who has thorough knowledge of Quran and Sunnah. Fatwas are given as a legitimate 5th Muslim sect. Please continue to read. Shias believes are as follows. 5 Pillars. 1. There is no God but Allah SWT and Prophet Mohammed SWS is the (last) Messenger of Allah SWT 2. Pray 5 times a day. Fajr-2 Rakat, Zuhr-4 Rakat, Asr-4 Rakat, Maghrib-3 Rakat, Ishan-4 Rakat. 3. Fast during the Holy Month of Ramazan 4. Pay Zakat ie., the poor-due. 5. Perform Pilgrimage to Mecca on Hajj, if financially and physically able to Other Practices 1. Quran is the last Holy book of Allah SWT. It consists of 114 Suras, which is same for all Muslims through out the world. 2. There is no addition/modification/deletion in Quran and Shias are against Tahrif-al-Quran. 3. Believes on Jihad-fi-Sabilillah to achieve Mirrdadillah (please of Allah SWT) 4. Do not hesitate for Jihad to fight against enemies who tarnish the image of Allah SWT or Quran, Prophet Mohammed PBUH or Ahelebait. The Jihad against the Satanic verses is evident. 5. Intoxicants haram and forbidden, do Hijab, respect parents & elders, propagate & practice Shariah 6. Respect all the other Muslim sects great deal and spread the word of friendship and not hatred. 7. They have never killed any innocent Sunni Muslim but are defending themselves against Wahabis 8. Visit any Shiite Website every Shia Scholar address Sunnis as Sunni brothers, All the secular-minded Sunni Muslim scholars are aware of this. In fact, the highest Muslim (Sunni) scholar , Shaiq-al-Akbar, Hazrat Mahmoud Shalout of Al-Azhar Muslim University, Cairo has also given Fatwa on this issue. Fatwa in Arabic: Fatwa in English: Furthermore, renowned Muslim Scholars, Shaiq Ahmed Deedat, whom the whole world knows as the greatest preacher of all times has also spoken about the faith and Muslim-Unity with Shiite. Shaiq Ahmed Deedat, Shaiq Ahmed Deedat, I would like to mention here that there is no difference between Shias and Sunni believes, on the basis of Pillars of Islam, Shariah, Halal&Haram, which is the prime requirement to be a Muslim. Their differences is on the basis of leadership that arose after the demise of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Mohammed SWS (PBUH), ie., Khilafat or Imamat issue. This does not knock the person out of the boundaries of Islam and this is a debatable issue that is going on between scholars of two sides on academic level. The Western enemies of Islam has come into Islam wearing Islamic dress and are trying to destroy Islam from within. They are funded by Dollars and Rials in millions. Money is transferred to their accounts on regular basis. They are being equipped by guns, ammunitions to bombs and granades. They are being trained by enemies, just to kills Muslims and destroy Islam for the truth. Places of worship are destroyed and the Holy copies of Quran-al-Kareem are destroyed due to bomb attacks. Worshippers are massacred. Visit the site and know their lives and activities: I think it is a mandatory for every God-fearing Muslim to abide the views of the great secular Muslim scholars and work in the betterment of the religion of Allah SWT and stop the lies, hatred propagated against any Muslim sect. This is Maroof and Munkar are the responsibilities of a Muslim too. There will always be people who will continue to exploit our differences as long as we do not learn to work together in spite of our differences. If we insist on ''my way or no way'' then we are creating Fitna instead of using our differences to strengthen our selves. Every person is a potential Muslim and every Muslim is a potential asset for establishing the Absolute Truth and Justice. Jazakallah

Assalamoaleykom...May Allah (swt) bless us was long time ago i visited this guesbook page...still i see some ignorance behind theese messages...Our Prophet said that the best way to get rid of our ignorance is to ask. When need to communicate whith each other, to create a dialogue between us. When i read this guesbook i only see word without meaning. Words without reflection, words without a critical attitude. Without this attitude we will never find the view of the reality, understanding of our self.Without this attitude we follow Islam blindly...this is the meaning about following something or someone blindly. We need to reflect. Read! and Reflect! For to understand our self, other perspectives, the social-history of Islam...etc Knowledge is the key to our hearts...and may Allah(swt) bless the ones who made this site for protecting some very important aspects in our religion...

I have learned that Yeshua/Jesus/Isa used the word Alaha for "God" and that this word means "Unity". I had come to learn more about those who "Surrender to Unity" but alas I find derision and division. I practice Zen and Quaker practices, myself, but from recent readings thought that perhaps I should investigate Sufism. I have read little of the Qu'ran, and in English, but have been reading "The Hidden Gospel" by Neil Douglas-Klotz, who purports to be Sufi. He gives the sayings of Isa/Jesus/Yeshua in light of their Aramaic origin, and shows that they are not so black&white as the Greek or many fundamental, closeminded Christians would have it. He suggests that it is common practice among both Jews and Muslims to interpret a Hadith as the present moment and God dictate, not as interpreted by some one else. This makes sense to me. In my meditation I meet God/Alaha, then I see "Sacred Unity" all about. As of yet I have found no teaching that seems to encompass the entire Truth, as words are inadequate, yet this book seemed to get thrillingly closer...It appears that the truth is the truth no matter where it is found, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc. God is One, God is Love, God is All! La ilaha illAlaha!

as salaam aleykum. i wonder why these salafis have nothing to do ,i mean, do they spend the whole day just trying to convince people into their british made islam?.i really do not get it,i wish they all just go into their "wahabi" country and stay there and let people live in peace .the most ignorant way for them to respond to anything that has the name of sufism is by saying that the prophet never mentioned anything about sufism, however ,the prophet never mentioned either that we should follow the rulings of some self made scholars like albani or binbaz and shut our eyes and brains to everyone else.can you just see the way these salafis are taking over all islamic bookstores, just look at who is editing and publishing these if all other books that come from other areas and sources are to be totally ignored. shame on this salafis who close their eyes to the reality of islam within themselves, just one quick advise to all the salsfis out there, please start using some brains when posting messages, act like adult and mature oriented human beigns,it is not too hard, trust me. peace and blessings to all.

Why do you anti-Tassawaff "Muslims" keep condemning Muslims to the hellfire. Obviously, your knowledge of Islamic history is limited because Tassawaff has been intertwined with the message of Sayyadina Muhammad (saws). But what gets me is that fact you don't know the PRESENT. Look around you. Who let the KUFFAR United States army into the Holy Land of Sayyadina Muhammad (saws)??? The Wahhabis/so called Salafis of Wahhabi Arabia. The Najdi Saudi Wahhabi sect also allowed the KUFFAR French military fighters to gun down Muslims in the Great Mosque in Mecca Sharif in the 1980 rebellion. Stop condemning pious Muslims to the hellfire. Focus on the real fitna! Wa'salaam, Ummah of Sayyadina Muhammad (saws).

The following is a petition to Internationally recognise the "Halal Trademark" that guarantees a product which complies with the Islamic Sacred Law (the Shariah) Please do take a few minutes off your time to read, sign, send, and then pass the following address to all Muslims local and abroad. This will surely affect every male/ female Muslim in the world. Please try and fight for your rights to have Halal recognised products worldwide. If Napster can secure 100,000 signatures to stay online then whats 5 million between 1.3 billion Muslims?? Please do sign and secure a Halal future for our tomorrow. I hope that you will take a minute to sign, send, and then pass the following address to all Muslims local and abroad. Wasalaam May Allah reward you all! PS. Lets try and get 10 million signitures by 30th May (Inshallah) Its not Impossible. Try and forward this email to as many as possible. Were hoping to take this case to the European Union. As they do not "recognise" the word 'Halal' in the EU food a they told a fellow muslim. Thank you for your time...

I know that I do not understand all of the intricacies of the religion, and am very new here. But I have a very universal message for those of you who argue with each other and ask for proof of what is inside of someone elses heart......The only Being worthy of judgement on what lies inside the heart of a mortal follower of the religion is Allah. If it were not so, why would he be named as the Lord of all the Worlds? Try to be tolerant of one another, show patience, and do not let your angry thoughts lead you astray from the religion in all its wonderous facets, study studiously, pray with a true heart, and judge only ones own self on what lies inside your heart.

I came across this page while surfing the internet seeking answers to some of my questions concerning marriage. I'm not Islamic, but after reading a mere two pages of quoted scripture (The word of Allah Lord of All the Worlds) I was impressed, and I would wish for these words to spread across the world. There is much for me to learn here, and my greatest wish is that it will not offend anyone if I were to read and practice the religion. I will refrain from doing so until I see evidence somewhere on the website that states that it is permitted for those outside of the religion to take it as their own.

On this very forum I made black and blue out of UR blasphemous statements. since when did U started to think of Quran and Sunnah??. Where inthe Quran is it written to accuse and slaner Awliyas?? UR ignorance knews no bound..there are scores of material available for U to look at and understand what Tasawuf is but since UR a Wahabbi/Deobandi thug of Imaan loves branding majority of Ummah as Mushriks and grave worshipper then U certainly cannot understand the meaning. Salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah, I would like to that your organization, al-humdulillah, for making an effort to bridge the abyss that seems to be devouring our Ummah. So few of our Muslims worldwide seem to be taking notice of their efforts to create divisions. As a convert (revert) of 13 years, who came to Islam in the isolated region of northern Wyoming, I treasure the opportunities to meet and interact with my fellow Muslims. Living in eastern South Dakota has continued to impress on me the NEED for unity. Yet time and time again we have Muslims come to the region to attend the university that have hate and bigotry in their hearts for their fellow Muslims. How can this be? Are we not told that we are not TRUE Believers unless we want for our Fellow Brothers what we want for ourselves? So why is there this hatred? I know even our regin finds it's self divided by the hate of some "born" Muslims who have come to the decision that reverts aren't real Muslims and have worked diligently to try to drive them from the mosques! What is happening to our UMMAH? In final note, I would like to just say to those who propagate the hate.....may Allah forgive you for your pride and arrogance. And may you live in a place where you will come to appreciate all those who submit their will to Allah. As for those who divide, you only hurt yourself. For the rest of us will continue to work to please Allah with or without you. It is something to think About.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH MOST GRACIOUS MOST MERCIFUL Dear followers of Naqshabandi, I am addressing this to you in this hour of trial on Muslims. I am inviting you to join us in defence of Imam Jamil AL-Amin in Atlanta Georgia. We are holding two rallies this Friday and Saturday at 7PM in West End Park at 745 West End st. Atlanta Georgia. Some of you may remember the Imam from his time in the Black Panther Party or SNCC. Others may remember the Imam from the time he led rallies supporting Bosnia in New York and Washington D.C. Still others may remember the Imam from the time he gave lectures at ISNA and ICNA. In any case, the Imam is being falsely accused of committing a crime. You may remember he was similarly accused in 1995 and 1997. In both cases he was released because the case was suspect. Can we now be certain that this is truth that we hear about bro. Imam? The Naqshabandi must know the true nature of the Imama because he spoke at the last Conference you held. I ask you borthers and Sisters in the Tariqat to support the Imam and stand against this injustice. We Muslims have many issues to deal with good and bad. However, we must unite on our home turf (USA) and not allow our Imams to be disrespected. I would like to remind the Kosova and Bosnian brothers and Sisters of the inspirational support the Imam gave you during the Balakan crisis. Is it not time for you to support him as well?I write this letter with love. For the one who loves always has the greatest burden and that burden is protection of the whole. With Salams to Sheikh Hisham and Sheki Nazim. phone for Imam Jamil-Al-Amin's Masjid (404) 752-7262

As-Salamo 'alaikom, Some people claim that sufism is to follow BLINDLY one sheikh, are you talking to naive people? who told you that? First we, muslims, don't call everyone in the street "sheikh"! or "scholar". and anyone that deviates from the path of Allah is not to be followed. As for to learn from a sheikh, a real one, the one who is knowledgeable, this is obvious to understand. And the sufi sheikh doesn't spend his time saying "follow me! only me!", he rather says "Allah said, our prophet said, our muslim imams said, our pious used to do" and he adds to theoritical knoweledge, practical applications. Because reading a book can give you some knoweldge, but you can be misguided, and the role of the sheikh is to explain to you, basing this on the Coran and the Sunnah. Just like medicine: reading a book in medicine is good, but it doesn't make of you a doctor. Follow every knowledgeable Sheikh, and if he asks you to do a sin, knows that you only have to obey to Allah. this is sufism. wassalaam

To celebrate means to "publicly praise" - The ENTIRE CREATION therefore "celebrated" the coming of our beloved Rasul, salallahu alaihi wasallam. When asked why he fasted on Monday, our beloved Prophet replied that he did so because it was the day of his birth (sorry, I don't have a reference available at the moment, I think it's in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). I pray that Allah Ta'ala will forgive the misguided Wahabis and that he will preserve the Ahl-as Sunnah Jamaat on the Sirat al Mustaqeem. PPS. There are many verses in the Quran and the hadith, which tells us to follow a specific shaykh, but to follow a shaykh blindly is very dangerous. Even Abu Yazid Bestami said that you should not follow a wali until you are 100 % chore. Even if the wali is flying, you should not follow him until you look at the Quran and the hadiths and what the great ulema is saying. So its impossible for the sufis to follow a shaykh blindly. How can you say that im following a shaykh blindly, what do you know? You also hurted me when you are claiming that the sufis is making sects, you should first study the history of Tassawuf and what the ulema said, then you will se that Tasawuf is the Quran, hadith. Sufism appeard in Muhammads time, the word sufi appeard 100 years later, What you are saying appeard in 1700 century, you need to go back... I would like to help you with your questions, but ask nicely and with ikhlas... I wonder where you get your ideas from, its clearly a Bida, if you really mean what you are saying, i will not respond to you but if you ask i will respond... (sorry my english is nor correct)

Assalamualaikum WBT Greetings from Malaysia to all. I hv been a student of Sheikn Nazim for the past 15 years, and I thank Allah SWT for guiding me and thousands of others. I would not trade a trillion USD, not to be otherwise. What does he teaches the murids from England,USA,France,Sweden,Germany,Holland, Spain , Brazil,Mexico, Pakistan,Singapore, Malaysia etc etc- you name it he has murids practically all over the world. first he teaches us to follow the sunnah of the prophet,by his fine examples - and I notice he follows the Prophets SAW sunnah 100%, especially in his adab, main and supplimentary prayers. for an old man of 70 years when I met him,he was maintaining 75 cycles fard and optional prayers a day, and wakes up without fail one hour before fajr.We young murids then, couldn't keep up with him even after three(3) days.We were just exhausted. It is as though he is on special everlasting power cells, and we murids on limited eveready batteries. besides that, Sheikh Nazim stresses very strongly to put our EGO down, to fight it and keep it under control. As Allah SWT created EGO'S for us to control it and not the other way round. As one can see, all of the worlds problems resulted from uncontrolled EGOISM,as in greed, arrogance, anger, pride etc ect. Only thru guidance of a spiritual teacher can one fight this EGO,and I believe this training has benefited a whole lot of students worldwide Alhamdullilah. If you look deeper, what sheikh Nazim and his deputies are teaching in a nutshell,is to prepare purify our souls so that we become acceptable when we meet Almighty Allah SWT eventually. To the critics, is that deviant teachings ? may I add furthur that in the group there are many murids who are highly educated and professionals in their line of work lie accountants, lawyers, economists, actuarists, engineers, lecturers and teachers etc etc. Some are trained in English and American Universities. How may I ask , if Sheik Nazim and his deputies can fool thousands of people and get away with it.Their work is only to bring people to be better servants of Allah SWT, and what is wrong with that ? May Allah SWT support him and his deputies Sheikh Hisham Kabbani,Sheikh Adnan Kabbani and Raja Ashman inshallah. Assalamoaleykom my dear brothers in islam... Indeed the angels are crying over us, and indeed we are crying, but inside without even knowing it. In all my life i have been trying to explaine the fundamentals of islam and tassawuf. And tassawuf is great but very sensitive topic. We have to know what ahl sunnah wal jama stand for, and who they are, we have to know and understand islam in a psykologic way.(see We muslims have to clean our self for to succeed, and the reaction of the muslims who mails others in a ignorance way, will only make their hearts low. Most of the muslims today are judging before knowing the intention, its called nijaat, and the nijaat is more importent than the actions, this is what the prophet (saw)stated and Hasan al basr (ra) and all the ulemas(ra). So how can i brother claime that a sufi is making a sin if he writes; Allaho Allaho...without understand the intention? We have many hadeeth which proves that there is no limit for doing dhikrAllah and this is haqq(see Im deeply in hurt by seeing or hearing muslims in ignorance talk about the issue awliya (sufi shaykh), there are very valuble books about the awliya which you can read, like Imam Ghazali, Ibn Khaldun etc take the opportunity and read this books, and may Allah protect the innocent youngsters which are attact by hadeeths from the missleading salifiya movement, who read the hadeeths word by word without understand them and take the time to read valuble ahl sunnah books. (Aamin). Yes, my brother there are many hadeeths which support the issue of following a great wali in every action! As the prophet stated to us, "if you follow him, you follow me", we have no room for to explaine this bleesed thing, but read about it in the naqshbandiya home pages, and read about what Ibn taymiya stated about this issue.(see A sahabi asked rasulullah(saw); Who can be the best companion for us? He answered; "Such a person that when you see him, you remember Allah, when you listen to him, your knowledge of islam is increased, and when you see his actions you are reminded of the akhira." So according to the great ulema, one who attaches himself to them and listen to thire talk attains very high standard of spirituality. Al shaykh al Akbar has written; "You cannot get rid of the evil wishes of yourself unless your desire are Allah and the sunnah of nabi. So when you find a true lover of Allah, serve him well and follow his instructions as thogh you have no will of your own. Obey him in all your spiritual, religious and personal problems, so that he may lead you to the tight path and take you nearer to Allah." This is a great ahl sunnah scholar so you have to accept this as the sunnah do. Once again, i respect and understand you thought and love you, whish i have to do.May Allah forgive us unclean muslims, and the angels keeps crying. please respond and let me get to know you, who you are and who your muslims friends are, otherwise we will missunderstand each other. May Allah lead us to the right path, and drow us closer to rasulAllah(saw). unclean brother Levent.

The people who "loiter" in any area usually give off the inpression of how that particular area really is to it's visitors from afar. The second this site brought in the controversial topics on such subjects as Salafis etc. It stepped over boundaries which within it were peacefull. Now Muslims are fighting. This is not Tassawuf at all. People this is now a place of fitna leave it and search for Ilm (knowledge) elswhere. Go to the masjid and sit with the ulema and learn or to darul ulooms. wa'salam

I was very pleased to come by your website and learn a lot of important things about Islam. May Allah bless The organization to continue with the good work. I would appreciate any guidance that you could put forward in the following topic. Recently Myself and some friends started collecting some funds for building a new mosque. At the rate at which we are collecting funds, it may take upto a few years to collect the necessary amount. Currently we are keeping the funds in a Checking account of an american bank. Since this bank does not belong to an islamic organization, we are very much concerned as to how these funds are being utilized. Some of our brothers raised the issue that the banks may loan these funds to alcohol companies etc. which may be unislamic. Again the funds are being utilised by non muslims to make more money. I would like to know your views on having these funds invested in "safe" mutual funds which invest in certain clearly defined industries (which are not haram). Aslam Merchant.

Indeed, I was once a sceptic regarding Sufism, but Allah opened my heart to the realization that it is the way in which we, the servants of Allah, can truly extinguish our egos and achieve a state of absolute trust and reliance on Allah. Shaykh Kabbani has truly made sacrifices for the sake of Allah which, as a results, have led to his status as a controversial figure. In spite of this, I feel that this Ummah is in dire need such people who lead by example, abandon their egos, and are fearful of nothing save Allah. Shaykh Kabbani is doing a wonderful job and I would like to ask that Allah continue to support him. Regarding Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani -- I must say that, by Allah, there is no living man known to me who I feel has represented the true nature of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) more accurately than Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani, of whom Shaykh Kabbani is a disciple. I have read about his endeavors, accomplishments, and struggles in the cause of Allah, and have, as a result, developed nothing but love for him. I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to sit in his presence, obtain his blessings, and soak in as much knowledge from him as I possibly can - Enshallah. Assalamu Alaikum. ,Kareem

Now i'm searching for hadith from the Prophet Rasulullah (shalallahu alaih) with the key word: "Sabaqal Mufarriduna", and then the shahabath of the the Prophet ask "Wa mal Mufarriduna ya Rasulullah?" etc.I see that you translate mufarridun to single-minded, could you explain to me more about it? I would be glad if anybody could help me to find the hadith or the explanation about it. I'm learning al Islam as it is said.."ud khulu fisilmi kaffah.." Assalamu alaikum. Let me remind all Muslims that the Prophet (saawaws) said on his last pilgrimage that he left us two weighty things, and if we hold fast to them we shall not go astray. They are the Quran and Ahlul Bait. Many Muslims say the hadith incorrectly by saying "Quran and Sunnah." However, all of the six Sahih Sittah say the Quran/Ahlul Bait version and regard it as strong by the criteria of Bukhari and Muslim. The Quran/Sunnah version is found only in al-Mustadrak of al-Hakim and has only *one* narrator, while the Quran/Ahlul Bait version has more than 30 - and again is found in the sahih sittah. ALL Muslims follow the sunnah. Based on this sahih hadith, it is clear that Ahlul Bait is the carrier of the sunnah. I hope all Muslims, when recounting this famous event and speech, will look to the sahih sittah and recite it correctly. Allahumma salle ala Muhammadin wa alee Muhammad at-tayabeen at-tahereen.

I was wone of the lost fools who followed the Tablighi Jamat and the neo-Salafis around like the blind, brainless lemings they are. Then one day a good Ehil Sunnah brother opened my eyes with the fiqh and sheri'at works of Sh. Hisham Kabbani and I suddenly found that the "Islam" that I was duped into was nothing like that of the Prophet (Salallahu 'alaihi wa salam). I then went on a jolla everyday in the Way of Allah (not just 10 or 40 days). Please wake up Ummah get away from these pawns of the Dajjal and stick to the well-trodden path of the Salafi and the Khalaf, not that of the Shaykh of the Nejd (ibn Abdul Wahhab the Satan) or his Tablighi cronies.

Bismillahir al-Rahmani al-Rahim Al-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Because of general known situation in Serbia, the situation in education system in it, and status of Muslims in the country, we are turning you as an institution which could help us of course with Allah`s (B.G.) will. In order to better explain what is going on we`ll write a short story about us. We are Fuad Hazirovic, 4th year student, and Edin Niksic, 3rd year student, both in a faculty of electrical engineering. We live in Novi Pazar, the town in Sandzak (a region devided into two Yugoslav republics, Serbia and Montenegro) with majority of Muslims population. After we had finished high school in Novi Pazar we enrolled to university in Prishtina (Kosovo) but on Serbian faculty because we don`t speak albanian, and there is no university in Sandzak. Because of well known situation in Kosovo and because of our poor material conditions we are not able to continue our studying. The local muslim institutions have not showed any interest to help us students. Seeing that non-muslim organizations help non-muslim students giving them scholarships and not having islamic institution in our surrounding to give us financial support, we decided to ask you for help with hope you could do something for us. First of all we would like to know if there is any possibility to continue our studying in United States, Canada, Australia or in other country in western Europe with financial support for studying costs (room and board). If there is no possibility to continue our study of electrical engineering we are ready to start from the beginning. It would give us opportunity to get better knowledge in electrical engineering (education system in Serbia is worse than in western countries). With this knowledge and knowledge of english language we could help the Muslims in our region. We are two of many students from Sandzak who are in the same position. We hope that you will understand and inform about your possibility of helping us as soon as possible. If you are not able to help us we hope that you know people or some organisation that could help us. You could give us their E-mail addresses. Let Allah (B.G.) award you for your effort. Please, when you answare write your address too. Wa al-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. E-mail address:

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu. Alhamdulliah that you want to spread the word of Allah to man kind. May Allah bless you. Insha-Allah, I want to inform you of this hadith, since this is, and I believe that you follow the sunnah of prophet Muhammad (SAW). Allahu 'alam (Allah knows best) if you came across this hadith, but in case you didn't, I feel compelled that I do inform you of it. It is concerning the cartoons that you have one your site, the pictures in particular. It is haraam to imitate allah's creation, ie. draw pictures of his creation. Where is my daleel (proof)? HERE IS THE FIRST ONE: ~~~~~ Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (SAW) said 'Those who make images (suwar) will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them, Make alive what you have created.' (Al-Bukaharee 7/541, no 835 and Muslim 3/1160, no 5268).~~~~~ From this hadith, it can be seen that it is haraam to make images of that which has a soul, such as human beings and animals. HERE IS THE SECOND ONE: ~~~~~ Narrated 'Aisha (RA): Allah's Messenger (SAW) returned from a journey when I had places a curtain (qiraam) of mine having images (tamaatheel) over (the door of) a chamber of mine. When Allah's Messenger (SAW) Saw it, he tore it apart and said, 'The people who will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection will be those who try to make the like of Allah's creation'. So we turned the curtains into one or two cushions/pillows. (Al-Bukhaaree 7/542, no 838)~~~~~ So brother/sister, save yourself from the hell-fire (alladhi wa qoodohan-nasu wa hijaara). May Allah guide us all. Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu. Your sister in Islam . (IF THERE ARE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES HERE, PLEASE FORGIVE, I WROTE THIS IN QUITE A HURRY AND I HATE READING OVER WHAT I WRITE)

Assalamu Alaikum One person who is Gair Muqallid, has presented some questions before one muballig. The person questioning was also sunni. But suddenly he changed and joined gair muqallidins. When on of the our Islamic brother went to explain him, he gave on pamphlet printed from one of the gair muqallid organization. The pamphlet contianed 10 questions regarding the faiths of Ahl-e-sunnat wal jamaat. He is demanding answers for his questions. We present those questions for your kind perusal and request answers for those questions as early as possible. The questions are as follows:- 1.) If there is any one other than Allah(azz-wa jall) who can solve problems the from the the distance of thousands of miles, living or after death can he listen the voices of those calling him for help. 2.) If by chance it is proved that he can listen from such great distance, then the question arises whether he understands all the languages of the world, because the person calling from Germany will call him in german, from England in English, and pathan in Pushto language. 3.) If it is proved that he understands all the languages, then the question arises that if many people calls him for help at the same time, then whether he will be able to listen and understand them all at the same moment or a queue will have to be formed. 4.) Does he sleeps or he is always awake? If he sleeps, then we should have a schedule of sleep and being awake, so that we call him only at the time when is awake or does he also listens in sleep. 5.) If a person requiring help is not able to speak because of his neck being choked or for any other reason, then if he present his problem through his heart, then whether will he understand that also? 6.) From birth till death man faces many problem. If all these problems could be solved by Allah(azz-wa jall) then why gairullah is required for help. Or if the one other than Allah(azz-wa jall) can solve all those problems then why Allah(azz-wa jall) is needed? 7.) If gairullah is not able to solve all the problem then there is a possibility that the job of solving some problems may rest with Allah(azz-wa jall) and rest with gairullah, in which case we should have a list of both the problems that Allah(azz-wa jall) can solve and those that can be solved by gairullah, so that we call the relevant one for help so that the problem is solved. 8.) Is gairullah who can solve the problems can also create problems, or is his duty is only for solving problems? If he only solves the problem than who creates the problems. 9.) In the end the result will be that Allah(azz-wa jall) is empowered to create problems and gairullah for solving them. Suppose at the same time Allah(azz-wa jall) wants to create problem and gairullah wants to solve it then in which case who will take back his decision? 10.) If namaaz-e-janaza is to be performed for some barguzida gunehgaar hasti (as mentioned in Urdu in the pamphlet) then who is to be called for salvation, Allah(azz-wa jall) or gairullah. The questions ends here. Pls reply me on as early as possi ble. Wassalam.

IS SUFISM BIDA? Is sufism bida? Constantly i read comments of men and women spraying out the word "bida" from their mouths, unfortunately without much thought. "Sufism" has now become a label attached to a particular type of people. It is a term that the prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, never actually used but implied it in many many circumstances. What is sufism? This question was answered for me by the writings of several very distinguished and highly reputable scholars of Islam, whom few would dare refute, namely imam Nawawi, Ghazali, Malik and Iskandari. People hold these scholars in such high esteem because first and foremost they posessed a comprehensive mastery of Islamic sacred law. Nawawi and Ghazali were hadith masters (people who had learnt over 100,000 hadiths by heart with their chains of narration - remember that the six most famous hadith collections of present day barely add upto 45000 hadiths. Not one hadith master remains alive today and the last famous one , Ibn Hajar Asqalani, died about 600 yrs ago) and principle legal scholars. Malik was a mujtahid imam - his rank speaks for itself. These scholars explained that Sufism was a term developed to describe a method which entailed certain results: It would enable the undertaker to fall in accordance with Qur'an & Sunnah in such a way that to transgress the bounds of sacred law would become repulsive. The student would have strong control over his nafs. Through dhikr of Allah and rigorous training the weaknesses of "normal people" would not affect these people. Tasawuff describes the act of constantly remembering and invoking Allah, most high, so much that eventually one achieves the perfection of faith, that is to live and worship AS IF you see Allah. If one could see Allah obviously he/she would not dare transgress the laws of Allah. Nawawi: "The way of sufism is based on five principles: having Godfearingness privately and publicly, living according to the sunnah in word and deed, indifference to whether others accept or reject one, satisfaction with Allah most high in dearth and in plenty, and returning to Allah in happiness or affliction." Someone please explain to me how these priciples fall under the category of bida. The principles of sufism outline that any action not substantiated by sacred law should be condemned. How can sufism be bida? These words in themselves are contradictory. Perhaps what people should say is that those so called sufis or tariqas which excuse themselves from salat in the name of sufism etc, commit bida. And hopefully you see now that anything not in accordance with the Qur'an & Sunnah is not really sufism. As it stands right now some people, by referring to sufism as bida, are accusing probably 30/40 of Islam's greatest scholars of committing reprehensible innovations. This is, in effect, lying about them and entails the punishment for slander. Unfortunately i think that people are misinformed with regards to the two words "sufism" and "tasawuff". Perhaps the words of Imam Malik will have a sobering effect on some people: "He who practices sufism without learning sacred law corrupts his faith, while he who learns sacred law without practicing sufism corrupts himself. Only he who combines the two proves true." Hopefully you can now see that sufism is basically sincerity and conformance with sacred law and the tools with which a worshipper may achieve his goals. Assalamualaikum.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious,Most Merciful.I would like to give my utmost sallam to Shaikh Hisham Kabbani, Shaikh Nazim Effendi(q) and all the Grandshaykh's (and Masters of this order). Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has been attacked and defamed (as many have heard),but I commend him for standing up and fighting without fear. There is one very very crucial last point I have to make. Shaikh Hisham Kabbani is saint. Now Allah has said very clearly in a Hadith Qudsi from Prophet Muhammad (s):"Whoever comes against one of My saints, I will declare war against him." Don't these Wahabi's Salafi's and all who are talking bad about Shaykh Kabbani relise the seriouness of what they are doing?! If Allah Himself declares war on you, who else can protect you??!!! Whoever is reading this should take heed. Blessings and Peace upon Sayyidina Muhammad, his Family, and his Companions.

Assalaam al aykum, The self proclaimed "Salafi" cult are like the self proclaimed "Latter Day Saints". It is one thing to call yourself holy and to have Allah deem you as that. They are the ones who use their Nafs and arrogance as the basis of their arguement. These people have always caused FITNA throughout Islamic history just like the Khawarrajj in the time of Sayyadina Abu Bakr (RAA) to the time of the Wahhabbis of the 1700s who killed more Muslims and esspecially Ahl al Bayht than any European power ever did. I am tired of your constant ego in the face of the Ummah. We shall see in the Judgement Day whose actions and beliefs were pleasing to the meantime refrain from your condemnation and get some ISLAMIC ADAB (manners)...FYI, when you refer to Sayyadina Muhammad (saws:), please show some respect and capitalize HIS HOLY NAME! wa'salaam to the Ummah of Sayyadina Muhammad (saws:)

Asalaam Alaykum my brothers in Faith. May God, Lord of the Universe, The Compassionate, The Merciful, The Most Gracious keep our hearts pure and loving of all Brothers and Sisters. I am a Turk, born and raised in Australia. I only know English and Turkish. It hurts me to hear older aged muslims press the point that Islam should be learnt only in Arabic, the mother language of the blessed Muhammed. If I were to believe this, I would never have turned to the straight path. Please brothers, understand that for the world to learn God's true path, the path of those whom he has favoured, do not debar people to read and learn acurate transleterations in their own languages. Assalam Alaikum, Brothers in Islam, I was distressed to read negative comments from various people. Obviously, they also consider themselves Muslims-- and seem to have an agenda of their own. As I have been visiting other websites as well, I have realised that there is sufficient material for every one according to your needs. There are obvuiously a lot of people who like Tassawuf, who like to follow Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Shafa'ee, and other Imams. Those who don't like such things, for whatever reasons, should find out what they want from the websites which are available to suit their tests. Why would these people want to wash their dirty linen on other people's "GUEST PAGE" as one of our brothers has pointed out. If there are 99.99% of things common between all Muslims, why don't they concentrate on those things? Why should they concentrate on the 00.001% things where they disagree with one another. Slogans like such and such person can go to such and such place are childish, immature, and stupid. If you don't like this website, just move on to the one that you like without condemning yourself in the eyes of Allah (SWT). Wassalam Muhammad Umar Chand Auckland New Zealand

Asaalamu Alaikum My Brothers and sisters in ISLAM, I thank Allah the MASTER of All CREATIONS for this MOST powerful TOOL called the 'INTERNET', where we can be in touch with relatives and friends and ALL Ummah in a flick of a seconds! MASH-ALLAH, what does this means to a Mumineens, well my only reason for this is that Allah Subhanahu wata'ala makes OUR lives easy with these modern technology and tools to make time for his WORSHIP, but today we are devoting these times for activities that is decremental to ISLAM, One wonders is it because that its OUR own fault for our failure to understand the hidden wisdom of Allah... ceartainly not, If Allah who is the KNOWER of OUR hearts created US as humans ONLY by his wisdom and mercy to US, if not he is CAPABLE of created US as other creations like a tree, stones etc. Therefore I feel that we react to situations and neglect is due to the environment that we live in. Therefore we MUST tailor the environment around the family and work etc such that priority is given for the service of ALLAH and the rest surrounding it, then INSHA-ALLAH we can and achieve the kind of environment that will bring peace and tranquility and realisation that Allah the Almighty is indeed MAKES things easier in this LIFE and certainly in the Yaumul Qiyama. As Salaamu Alaikum, You should put up articles regarding the commemoration of the 10th of Muharram, because it is an important day for Ahl Al Sunnah. Don't just get hung up with arguments concerning the Melad of the Holy Rasool, sallallaho alaihi wa alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam. Also, you should have some articles on your site concerning the virtues of the ahlul-bait as well. This is just some helpful advice for future site improvements.

After reading Sheikh Hisham's literature, i am confident that the truth will reach those poor souls that are blind-following the evil regime of anti-Ahle sunnah wal jama'at. We pray to Allah that he gives us a figure like Sheikh Kabbani in the United Kingdom as well .Here Wahhabism has taken the form of Deobandism that is working with the Tablighi Jama'at. Salam Alikum - It is very sad to see all these insults against the leader/shaikh who is probably promoting this site. And where are these insults taking place? In his Guestbook. It is his guestbook--Guest and book. So, is this is how a Muslim "guest" should behave? Where are the morals taught to us by Islam regarding guests and hosts? All I can say is the Arabic saying:"Wa itha akramta al-la'eemi tamaradda". And my, what kind of "guests" have we Muslims emerged into. I hope that we can all express ourselves without insulting one another. Especially, when--I wont say unique figures, for argument's sakes--old people are involved. Is this the way our Prophet (S) taught us how treat the elders? A constructive dialog will always harvest ripe fruits, insults eliminates any productive dialog to start. We'll end up fighting one another when we all operate under the same consept: La ilaaha illa Allah! Anyway, the Guestbook usuals; That's really a nice site. It would help if you included your personal Quran recitation (Because I heard some of it on tape and I liked it), so be generous and let us all enjoy the recitation you have :-) Ahh, and maybe I should take the chance to embarrass brother Mateen and ask him to respond to my Emails!? :) Was-Salam.

as-salamu'alaikum, An obviously well thought-out, clearly orginized web-site, that everyone should visit it as often as possible. Unfortunately, due to the wealth of information on traditional Islam, the internet has experienced a slanderous and disrespectful retaliation. The backlash from the newer 'protestant' muslis, who incorrectly identify themselves as the 'Salafi', has crossed new boundaries in character assasination. If you have time, help this cause. Inshallah, the truth shall be made known. -Yursil
