Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

After Shaykh Hisham’s initial response to the “challenge” of Shaykh Adly to a debate, some of the membes of the MSA-Network reacted rather impatiently. Here we present some of their responses.

Assalamu Alaikum, wa rahamat-ullah!!!

In my humble opinion, Hisham Kabbani’s response to Shaykh Adly’s questions are neither fair nor adequate.

Assalamu alaikum, I personally know Sheikh Adly very well, and alham-dou-lillah he is very very knowledgeable, and on top of that he has given many lectures on Tassawuf and Sufism, defining what is right and wrong, what is allowed and what is forbidden. Since it was originally, Br.Kabbani who posted articles on Tassawuf and Sufism, propagating on the MSAnet, therefore I believe that is why Sheikh Adly, is simply asking him to give proofs and evidences to support what he has posted earlier by answering those Six questions. Once those six answers are given, then I am certain Sheikh Adly will reply, but as a knowledgeable sheikh he wants to show the readers of MSAnet that if someone propagates something then he or she should alsohave proofs and evidences in support.

Just by merely telling people that go and read what Ibn Taymiyyah has said or what some other sheikh has said, etc.. is way of denial and not to answer the questions.

If brother Kabbani, really thinks he is knowledgeable then he must answer those questions, or else we will just assume his shying away.
